This is the design of an artistic-cultural complicated, made up of the museum and conservatory of music, FRAC, planned in Besancon, France. Besan§on is really a historic town with a fortified wall in the 17th century and detailed as a Earth Heritage Web site by UNESCO in 2008.

The length field is situated along the river Doubs, which might be seen from Citadelle, a fortified hill and landmark in the town. It was decided to preserve the buildings in the Pentagon used as strong on both boundaries in the land as well as brick warehouse constructed in the 30s, and hence build a roof that related them. Underneath this long roof that goes in the direction in the river, is hosting two programs: museum and music school. Outdoor spaces like passages, terraces and gardens are existing.

The roof contains plants, glass and metal panels and solar panels to kind a colorful mosaic, with a natural motif, wherever people can spend time comfortably underneath a warm light. The grid pattern continues towards the envelope.

The pattern in the roof and exterior walls make the complicated play with light and shadow to subtly filter into area.
